Set paragraph indents

The indent marker for the paragraph is displayed as a blue triangle on the horizontal ruler.

You can change the indentation of the paragraph in text or in a list. In a list, the paragraph indent changes the position of the text.

To change the indent of the paragraph, follow these steps:

1.Select the desired text:

•To change the indent for a single paragraph or list item, place the cursor in it or select the entire paragraph or list item.

•To change the indent for multiple paragraphs or multiple list items on the same level, select them in their entirety.

2.Hold down the left mouse button on the marker and drag it to the desired position.

3.Release the left mouse button to set the new indent of the paragraph.

You can also set the paragraph indent using the Paragraph settings window.
