How can we help you?
Application: Text Desktop version

If necessary, you can create a new list from a part of the numbered list. You can select list items at any level for conversion.

A new list always starts with the same value as the current list. For example, if the current list starts with the number 4, the new list will start with that number. If necessary, you can manually change the numbering of the new list.

The command to create a new list is not available if:

More than one list item of different levels is selected.

The first list item or the first level item is selected.

To create a new list from a part of the current one, follow these steps:

1.Specify the items to create a new list in one of the following ways:

Select the list item from which you want to start a new list, or place the cursor in the list.

Select multiple items to start a new list, or all the items in the list from which you want to create a new list. The selected items should be on the same level. If the items in this level have sub-items, they will be included in the new list automatically.

2.Right-click to open the context menu and run the Restart from [start value of current list] command.
