If several users are working on a document simultaneously or alternately, they can express their ideas and remarks to the text by leaving comments. In addition, users can reply to each other's comments and create the entire threads on specific pieces of text or questions.
The following limitations currently apply:
–Comments and threads are not printed out.
–No notifications when a comment or reply changes.
–The discussion thread may break and appear as separate comments if the document was opened and saved: in a third-party text editor (except for LibreOffice Writer), in a web or mobile MyText applications, in MyText desktop editor earlier than version 2.7.
–Comments in the header and footer section are saved in .odt and .xodt file formats only. When you save a document in .docx format, comments in the header and footer section are automatically deleted.
–When you close a document, comments to tables for which text wrapping is configured are not saved.
Comments and threads are displayed in the Review pane.
