Edit table content

To place the cursor in a cell, left-click the cell.

When you enter text and numbers into a cell, the cell width does not change. The data is moved to the next line within the current cell. In this case, the cell height may be automatically increased.

When you insert an image into the table, it is automatically resized to the column width. The cell height may change if the image is larger than the cell height.

You can move between table cells using ←, ↑, ↓, → keys on the keyboard.

If you want to quickly delete data in a cell, column, row or the entire table:

1.Select the desired table element or the entire table.

2.On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click  Delete.
