Headers and footers display repeating information at the top or bottom of the page. The information in the headers and footers is duplicated for each page of the document.

You can insert and edit text, tables, images, links, and comments into the header and footer.

Comments in the header and footer are saved only when you select .odt or .xodt file format. If the .docx format is selected when saving the document, these comments are automatically deleted.

To switch to the header and footer editing mode, place the mouse pointer over the top or bottom of the page. When the pointer transforms into editor_add_header_footer_icon, double-click it.

To exit the editing mode, double-click the text of the document or click t_add_exception_icon.

For page numbering, use the Page numbers feature.
