To edit a comment or reply, follow these steps:
1.Select a comment or reply in one of the following ways:
•Hover the mouse cursor over the comment or reply box. In the upper-right corner, click
Edit.
•Select the comment or reply box by double-clicking.
2.Change the text of the comment or reply.
3.If you want to cancel the changes, press Esc. If you want to save your changes, do one of the following:
•In the comment or reply field, click Save.
•Click anywhere in the document.
•Press Ctrl+Enter (Windows, Linux) or ⌘Cmd+⌤Enter (macOS).
If, while collaborating on a document, another user deletes a comment to which a reply is being edited, or deletes text to which a comment refers, the entire thread is deleted and the pop-up message “Comment or text fragment deleted” is displayed.
Blank comments and replies are automatically deleted.
