The Privacy and Protection section of the Settings tab contains settings related to security. The setting blocks are described below.
Mail Content –Allow remote content in messages checkbox. –Exceptions button: generate a list of sites that are allowed or not allowed to be displayed in emails. Web content –Remember websites and links I've visited checkbox. –Accept cookies from sites checkbox. –Eceptions button: set cookie exclusions. –Accept third-party cookies list: select the cookie saving mode. –Show Cookies button: view and delete cookies stored on your computer. –Send websites a “Do Not Track” signal that you don’t want to be tracked checkbox. |
The application saves usernames and passwords for accessing servers so that you don't have to enter them each time you perform different actions. –Saved Passwords button: View, change, and delete saved passwords. –Use a Primary Password checkbox: configure the master password for additional protection of saved passwords. –Change Primary Password button. |
Junk filtering settings. –When I mark messages as junk checkbox: enable the action when a message is marked as junk: Move them to the account’s “Junk” folder or Delete them. –Mark messages determined to be Junk as read checkbox. –Enable adaptive junk filter logging checkbox. –Show log button: open the log of performed actions of the anti-junk filter. –Reset Training Data button: delete anti-junk filter training data. |
Scam Detection –Tell me if the message I’m reading is a suspected email scam checkbox. Antivirus –Allow antivirus clients to quarantine individual incoming messages checkbox. Certificates –When a server requests my personal certificate switch: Select the action when the server requests a certificate: Send one automatically or Ask me every time. –Query OCSP responder servers to confirm the current validity of certificates checkbox. –Manage Certificates button: manage saved certificates and import new certificates. –Security Devices button: Manage devices for encrypting and decrypting connections and storing certificates and passwords. |
