The Address Pane is shown below.
Addresses can be selected and moved to the From, To, Copy and Bcc fields using the mouse, hotkeys or context menu.
The From field:
–is mandatory;
–contains the sender's name and e-mail address;
–is filled in automatically in most cases;
–allows you to change the sender's address if several accounts are connected in the application;
–allows you to change the sender's alias if the administrator has added an alias for the current account;
–allows you to edit the name and address using the Customize From Address command, if the mail service supports it.
The To field:
–hidden by default;
–can be enabled using the >> menu by selecting the Reply-To item.
–can be filled with the address to which a reply e-mail will be sent from the recipient.
–can be turned off by pressing the × button in the field bar.
The To field:
–is mandatory;
–must be filled in with the addresses of the main recipients of the letter;
–suggests contacts from the address book when typing a name or address;
–allows you to add an addressee from the Contacts sidebar;
–can be turned off by pressing the × button in the field bar.
The Cc field:
–hidden by default;
–can be enabled by clicking the Cc and Bcc button;
–you can fill in the addresses to which a copy of the e-mail will be sent;
–can be turned off by clicking the × button in the field bar.
The Bcc field:
–hidden by default;
–can be enabled by pressing the Bcc button;
–you can fill in the addresses to which the hidden copy of the e-mail will be sent;
–can be turned off by pressing the × button in the field line.
The main recipients of the e-mail from the To field will not see the list of recipients of the hidden copy. Only the sender of the email can see the list of recipients of the hidden copy.
The Subject field:
–is not mandatory;
–can be filled with a brief description of the e-mail subject;
If the Subject field is empty, you will be reminded to fill the field when sending the e-mail.
Address context menu
–Edit Address: edit the address.
–Delete, Cut, Copy: perform the corresponding operation on the address.
–Move to To: move the address to the To field.
–Move to Cc: move the address to the Cc field.
–Move to Bcc: move the address to the Bcc field.
