Search Pane

The Search Pane is shown below.

The Search Pane is used to search the text of a message.

Opening

–Menu Bar > Edit > Find.

–Hotkeys: Ctrl+F or Cmd+F.

Elements

–Find in page field: enter the text to search for.

–^ and ⌄ buttons : find the previous or next occurrence of a phrase in the text.

–Highlight All checkbox: enable highlighting of all found occurrences.

–Match Case checkbox: enable case sensitive search.

–Match Diacritics checkbox: enable diacritical marks to be taken into account when searching.

–Whole Words checkbox: enable the search mode for whole words only.

–Replace button: open the Find and Replace window.

Find and Replace window

The Find and Replace window is used for searching and replacing text fragments.

Opening

–Menu > Edit > Find and Replace.

–Hotkeys: Ctrl+H or Cmd+H.
