Messages marked as junk are highlighted in the list of messages in the Mail tab as follows:
–The text of the subject and date the e-mail was received is highlighted in red font.
–The color indicator is displayed in the message line. Unread messages have a gray indicator
.
To mark a message as junk:
1.On the Mail tab, in the Message List, select the desired message. The message will be displayed in the Message View Area.
2.In the Message View Area, click the Junk button.
The message will be marked as junk and moved to the Junk folder if the appropriate settings are set.
You can also mark a message as junk or not junk by clicking the or
indicator on the message line in the Message List.
Mark multiple messages as junk or not junk
To mark multiple messages as junk or not junk, from the Message List, select the messages you want to mark as junk or not junk and use one of the methods:
–From the Main Menu, select Message > Mark > As Junk or As Not Junk.
–From the message context menu, select Mark > As Junk or As Not Junk.
–Press J or Shift+J on the keyboard.
The selected messages will be marked as junk and moved to the Junk folder if the appropriate settings are set.
Retrieve messages from the Junk folder
To restore messages from the Junk folder, use one of the following methods:
1.From the Folder Pane, select the Junk folder. Messages marked as junk appear in the Message List.
2.Select one or more messages.
3.From the context menu of any of the selected messages, select Mark > As Not Junk (or use the Move to Folder menu).
The messages will be moved to the original or selected folder
Clear Junk folder
To quickly delete all messages and folders inside the Junk folder:
–In the Folder Pane, from the context menu of the Junk folder, select Empty Junk and confirm the action.
All messages and subfolders inside the Junk folder will be moved to the Trash folder, from where they can also be recovered using the move function.
To clear the Junk folder manually:
1.From the Mail tab, on the Folder Pane, select the Junk folder. Messages marked as unwanted will appear in the Message List.
2.Select the messages you want to delete.
3.From the contex menu of the selected messages, select Delete or press Del.
The messages will be moved to the Trash folder.
Customize automatic deletion of unwanted e-mails
To set up automatic deletion of unwanted messages:
1.From the ☰ MyOffice Mail menu, select Settings. The Settings tab opens.
2.In the pane on the left, select Privacy & Security.
3.In the Junk settings box, select the When I mark messages as junk check box, and then select the Delete them option.
Emails marked as junk manually or by the junk filter will be moved to the Trash folder.
If necessary, you can define other default anti-junk filter settings in this settings block. Account-specific anti-junk filter settings can be set in the account settings.
