Unread messages are highlighted in the list of messages in the Mail tab as follows:

The text of the sender's name or address, subject, and date the message was received is highlighted in bold.

If the Message List is displayed in table mode, the color indicator Mail_PSN_3.2_unread is also displayed in the message line. Unread messages have a gray indicator psn-ug-icon-message-read.

Mark a message as read

To mark a message as read:

On the Mail tab, in the Message List, select the desired message. The message is displayed in the Message View Area.

The message will be marked as read.

You can also mark a message as read or unread by clicking the Mail_PSN_3.2_unread or psn-ug-icon-message-read indicator in the message line in the Message List.

Change the read status of multiple messages

To change the read status of messages:

1.From the Message List, select one or more messages.

2.In the context menu of one of the selected messages, select Mark > As Read or Unread.

The read status of the selected messages will be changed.

You can also change the read status of selected messages in the following ways:

From the Main Menu, select Message > Mark > As Read or As Unread.

In the Message View Area, select More > Mark as Read or Mark as Unread.

Press M on the keyboard in the keyboard layout.

Mark all messages in a period of time as read

To mark messages received over a period of time as read:

1.From the Main Menu, select Messages > Mark > As Read by Date.

2.In the Mark Messages as Read by Date box, enter the end date of the time period.

3.If necessary, enter the start date of the time period.

4.Click OK.

Messages received during the specified period are marked as read.
