Composition
–Compose messages in HTML format checkbox: enable this option to add the ability to format your messages using HTML, such as bold, slanted, or underlined, select font family, font size, letter color, background color, and other options.
–Automatically quote the original message when replying checkbox: if this option is enabled, when you click Reply or Reply All in a message, the reply message will quote the message you are replying to.
–When quoting list: this setting determines whether the cursor is placed above or below the quoted text.
–and place my signature list: If you also have a signature that the application adds automatically, this setting determines where your signature is placed — above or below the quoted text.
–Include signature for replies checkbox: If you don't want your signature to be added when you reply to a message, turn this option off.
–Include signature for forwards checkbox: Enable this option to have the application automatically add your signature when you forward a message.
–Global Composing Preferences button: open the application's global settings in the Composition section of the Settings tab.
Addressing
–When looking up addresses options: if you have configured the application to look up addresses on an LDAP server when composing a message, you can use this option to define another LDAP server when composing messages on behalf of this identity (account profile).
–Edit Directories button: configure LDAP directory servers.
–Global Addressing Preferences button: open the application's global settings in the Addressing section of the Settings tab.
