To find a contact in an address book:

1.On the Address Book tab, on the Address Book Pane, select the desired address book or All Address Books. The address book contacts appear in the list.

2.In the Contact List, enter part of the contact's name, address, or other information in the search field.

Contacts matching the search query will be displayed immediately in the list.

You can also search for and select a contact without opening the address book when adding recipients in the Message Composition Window.

Advanced contact search

To search for a contact using more specific criteria:

1.From the Main Menu, select Edit > Find > Search Addresses. The Advanced Address Book Search window opens.

2.In the Search in list, select the address book to be searched.

3.Customize the search query using conditions by following the steps:

a.Select whether the filter is applied when all conditions are met or when any of the conditions are met.

b.Customize one or more conditions, for example, CitycontainsMoscow.

4.Click the Search button to start the search by the specified conditions.

Only contacts that exactly match the specified criteria will be displayed.

The buttons are available for performing actions with contacts:

Properties: change the properties of the contact.

Write: write a message to the contact.

Delete: delete the contact from the address book.
