View message
To open a message in the Message View Area and view its contents:
1.If the Message View Area is not displayed, enable it via the ☰ MyOffice Mail menu > View > Layout.
2.On the Mail tab, select the desired folder from the Folder Pane. All messages in the selected folder are displayed in a list.
3.From the Message List, select the desired message.
The message contents will be displayed in the message viewing area.
If no e-mail is selected, the message viewer displays the text "No e-mail selected. Select a message to view it here. Or double-click to open it in a new tab."
Open a message in a new tab
To open a message in a new tab in the application, use one of the methods:
–From the Message List, select the message and from the Main Menu, select Message > Open Message.
–Double-click the message line in the Message List.
–From the message context menu, select Open Message in New Tab.
–Press Ctrl+O or Cmd+O.
The message opens in a new tab.
Open a message in a new window
To open a message in a separate window in an application, use one of the methods:
–From the context menu of the message, select Open Message in New Window.
–If the message is open in a separate tab, from the tab context menu, select Move to New Window.
The message opens in a new window.
Open a message in a thread
To open a message in a new tab with a thread context, use the following method:
–From the context menu of the message, select Open Message in Conversation.
A new tab containing the messages in the conversation will open.
If the message does not belong to any conversation, only one selected message will be displayed in the new tab.
Create a contact while viewing a message
To add a new contact to your address book from the Message View Area:
1.Select the recipient or sender in the message header. A context menu will open.
2.In the context menu, select Add to Address Book.
The selected contact will be added to your address book.
Edit a contact while viewing a message
To edit an added contact from the message view:
1.Select the recipient or sender in the message header.
2.From the context menu, select Edit Contact. The Edit Contact pop-up window opens.
3.Edit the contact's last name, first name, and middle name.
4.If the Address Book option is available, if necessary, change the address book in which the contact will be saved.
5.If you click the Edit Details button.
The edit panel for the selected contact opens, where you can add additional details about the contact.
Delete a contact while viewing a message
To delete an address book contact in the Message View Area:
1.From the context menu of the sender or recipient, select Edit Contact.
2.In the Edit Contact window, click Delete and confirm the action.
The contact will be deleted from your address book.
