An invited event participant can view the event and perform the following actions:
–accept the invitation or decline the invitation;
–move the event from one calendar to another;
–set a reminder for the event;
–suggest a different time to the organizer (if the account is connected to the Mailion server).
You can also accept or decline an event invitation in the invitation email.
Accept an event invitation from the event viewer window
To accept or decline an event invitation:
1.On the Calendar tab, double-click the desired event in the Time Grid, event pane, or Event List. The event view window opens.
2.If you need to send a reply now, click the desired reply button:
•Accept: if you have accepted the invitation, the event will automatically appear in your calendar as Accepted. It will be highlighted in a bright color in the interface.
•Tentative: an event that is tentatively accepted is marked as Accepted tentatively. It will be highlighted in a slightly less bright color in the interface.
•Decline: by default, declined events are not removed from the calendar, but are marked as Declined. They will be displayed in a dim color in the interface.
3.If you need to change your participation status without sending a reply to the organizer, select Do not send a response in the context menu of the desired reply button.
The participation status will be displayed in the Event View Window.
Accept an invitation from the context menu
To accept or decline an invitation to an event from the event context menu:
1.On the calendar Time Grid, right-click the desired event. The context menu will open.
2.In the context menu select Attendance.
3.Select the desired response option from the menu: Accepted / Accepted tentatively / Declined > Send a notification now / Do not send a notification.
4.If the event is recurring, select the desired option from the menus This Occurence and Complete Series.
