How can we help you?

You can quickly replace an image inserted into a document with a new image in .png, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .gif, .svg, .tiff or .tif format. In this case, the size and proportions of the original image are retained for the new image.

To replace the image, do the following:

1.Save the image to replace it in any folder on your computer.

2.Select the original image.

3.Run the Replace command in one of the following ways:

On the Insert tab, click the arrow to the right of the t_insert_image Image button and select Replace.

Open the context menu by right-clicking the image and run the Replace image command.

When working in macOS, run the Format > Replace image command from the command menu.

4.In the file manager window, select the image to replace and click Open.

When you replace an image, the original image's dimensions and its anchor to the cell are retained.
