To filter a range of cells containing text based on a condition, follow these steps:
1.Create a range of filtering with text data.
2.Click the
Sort and filter button in the upper cell of the column where you want to filter the data.
3.In the window that opens, select By condition filtering type.

4.In the Condition by text drop-down list, select a condition for filtering:

The value in the cell should not be equal to the value of the argument. |

The value in the cell starts with the value of the argument. |

The value in the cell does not include the value of the argument. |
5.In the Value box, click the
button and select a value from the range in the drop-down list, or enter another value manually. When you enter values manually, the range values are searched, and the corresponding options are displayed in a drop-down list. When entering, you can use wildcards. To clear the input field, click the
button.

6.Click Apply.
The appearance of the sort and filter button may differ from the one shown here because it depends on whether sorting has been previously applied, the sort order (ascending or descending), and whether a filter has been previously applied:
