How can we help you?

MySpreadsheet allows you to create and perform various operations on formatting rules of the following types:

Rules of the Regular highlighting type

Rules of the Color scale type

Rules of the Data bars type

Rules of the Icons type

The Regular highlighting rule applies the formatting specified when the rule was created to the cells for which the rule is applied.

The Color scale rule colors the cell with a color corresponding to the value in the cell on the color scale. A color scale is a gradient from the color specified for the lower threshold value to the color specified for the higher threshold value.

The Data bars rule adds a column chart to a cell. The length and orientation of the column chart relative to the axis depend on the value in the cell: the larger the value, the longer the bar.

The Icons rule adds an icon to the cell from the set selected when creating the rule. The appearance of the icon depends on the value in the cell.

Rules of the Color scale, Icons, and Data bars types apply only to cells containing numerical values, including percentages, currency formats, date, and time.

There is no limit to the number of rules you can create.
