How can we help you?

The Function wizard allows you to view the structure of complex formulas in a separate window. To open the structure window, in the Function arguments window, click Open formula structure.

If necessary, the width and/or height of the window can be adjusted as follows:

To increase or decrease the window width, move its right border to the left or right.

To increase or decrease the window height, move its bottom border up or down.

To adjust the window width and height simultaneously, move its bottom right corner in the desired direction.

The formula structure shows all the arguments contained in the formula and their values in a tree view. Arguments nested in functions can be displayed or hidden. To do this, use t_group_expand or t_down structure symbols:

formula_structure_collapsed   formula_structure_expanded

Formulas and arguments containing an error are marked with formula_structure_not_okay symbol. For them, the error type is displayed instead of the value:

formula_structure_errors

To close the structure window, click OK or the close_dialog_window button in the window title bar.
