2.Open the Function arguments window in one of the following ways:

In the Formula bar, click side_panel_function.

On the Insert tab, click t_insert_formulas Function.

When working in macOS, select the Insert > Function command from the command menu.

Press Shift+F3.

3.If a cell with a complex formula has been selected, use the func_wizard_next Next function and func_wizard_previous Previous function buttons to switch between nested functions. The currently selected function is highlighted in color in the formula structure.

4.If necessary, make changes and click OK.

When working with the Function wizard, arguments are input into the value boxes of the Function arguments window. Arguments can be entered directly from the keyboard or by clicking select_cells Select Values and then selecting a range of values with the mouse.

The data type, for example, “Number”, is displayed to the right of the input box. After entering an argument, the entered value, the calculated value, or a sequence of values is also displayed there. If an incorrect data type or nested function calculation error occurs, the error type is displayed to the right of the field, for example, “#NAME?”.

The Function result box at the bottom of the window displays the calculated value of the selected function, and the Formula result box displays the calculated value of the formula entered in the cell. If a simple formula is entered in the cell, the result of the function will match the value of the formula. If arguments are entered incorrectly, the error type will be displayed in these fields.
