Undo the last action

You can undo the last action performed on the content of a document.

To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click t_edit_undo Undo.

When working in macOS, run the Edit > Undo command from the command menu.

Press Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace (Windows, Linux), or command_grey Cmd+Z (macOS).

To undo several recent actions, run the undo command several times.

Redo the result of the undone action

The undone action can be redone if necessary.

To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click t_edit_redo Redo.

When working in macOS, run the Edit > Redo command from the command menu.

Press Ctrl+Y, Ctrl+Shift+Z or Shift+Alt+Backspace (Windows, Linux) or command_grey Cmd+Y (macOS).

To redo the last few undone actions, run the redo command several times.
