Checkbox is a control that a user can select or clear. The user can choose the appropriate options from the listed ones or agreeing to the indicated conditions. You can apply formatting settings to the checkbox. For example, change the size or color, make it bold. |
Input Field (Plain Text in Word is a control that contains a field for entering plain (unformatted) text. You can enter any amount of text into the field manually or from the clipboard without paragraph division. When pasting formatted text into the input field, all formatting settings are cleared. You can format pasted or manually entered text directly in the input field. For example, you can change the font size and color, make the text bold or underlined, or apply a preset style to the text. Formatting settings are applied to the entire text in the input field, formatting of individual text pieces is not allowed. As the font size increases, the size of the input field changes proportionally. To switch to the edit mode of the field content, click it with the mouse. If you want to select the text in the input field, do the following: •To select one word, double-click that word. •To select the entire text, click any word three times. The selected text can be cut or copied and pasted elsewhere in the document as text. Cutting, copying, and pasting are carried out in standard ways. |
Drop-Down List is a control that contains a drop-down list of specified values. The user can only select one value. Editing of the selected value is not allowed. The text that appears in the drop-down list input field can be formatted. For example, you can change the font size and color, make the text bold or underlined, or apply a preset style to the text. As the font size increases, the size of the input field changes proportionally. Note that formatting is not applied to the items in the list. |
Date Picker is a control from current versions of Word that contains a date entry field. The date is selected by the user from the drop-down calendar and inserted into the field in the specified format. Entering the date manually is not allowed. The current version does not support the value specified in Word, in the properties window of the content control, in the Store XML contents in the following format when mapped field.
The date in the input field can be formatted. For example, change the size and color, make it underlined, apply a preset style to the date. As the font size increases, the size of the date input field changes proportionally. |
Text Frame is a control from previous versions of Word that includes a container for entering text (a frame). The frame can be moved as well as resized. In MyOffice Text, the frame is automatically converted to a text box. This retains the content, formatting parameters, size, and position on the sheet as set in Word. Frame parameters that are not supported for a text box (see the list) are saved in the system for back conversion. When converting a frame to a text box: •Charts are not displayed in text boxes. •Text rotation, footnotes and headings are not supported for text fields. In addition, there is no option to work with fields not created in MyOffice Text. •If the frame is set to a background color with shading, only the background color (without shading) is displayed. •If the frame has borders of different types, the same solid line borders are set. Borders of different colors are converted to black borders. Borders of different thicknesses are converted to identical borders with a mean value. If at least one border is missing, all borders are removed. •If the text in the frame is divided into separate paragraphs and the frame has a fill, the fill color is not displayed. •If the text in the frame is divided into separate paragraphs and these paragraphs have borders, the borders of both the paragraphs and the text box are removed. The original view of the borders for reverse conversion is not saved. •When you copy a text box within the original document, all parameters for the reverse conversion are saved. When copying to another document, the parameters are not saved. When you save the document, the text box is converted back to a frame. Parameters that were not used in the conversion are applied to the frame. |
