Headers and footers display repeating information at the top or bottom of the page. The information in the headers and footers is duplicated for each page of the document.
You can insert and edit text, tables, images, links, and comments into the header and footer.
To add information into header or footer, do the following:
1.Go to the header and footer editing mode in one of the following ways:
•In the Command menu, select Insert > Header and Footer.
•On the Toolbar, select the Insert section and click . On the displayed insert pane, click
Header and Footer.
•Place the cursor over the top or on the bottom of the page. When the cursor changes to , double-click.
2.Add the information to the header/footer area. You can enter text or insert an object.
3.To exit the header/footer editing mode, double-click the text contained in the document or click .
