Application: Mail Web version

To forward an email, do the following:

1.Select the desired message in the list. Its contents will be displayed in the Reading pane. Or open it in a separate tab.

2.On the email Toolbar, click 28а Forward.

As a result, you will see the window of creating a new mail in which Fwd: prefix will be added to the Subject field, and the text of the forwarded email will be displayed in the body of the email.

The Forward operation is unavailable if the created email window is minimized. When you try to forward an email, a notification window appears on the screen informing you to finish working with the previous email. To continue, select the necessary option in the notification window:

Save: The minimized window of the created email will be saved in drafts, the form of creating a new email will be opened on the screen.

Cancel: Cancel the creating operation and close the notification window.

Do not save: The minimized window of the created mail will be closed, the form for creating a new mail will be opened on the screen.

If the forwarded mail contained attachments, these files will be also attached.

If the user copies and pastes a part of the text from the email and forwards it, this text will be displayed as a quote. The text copied at one time is considered one separate quote. Place the cursor at the beginning of the quote and press Backspace to cancel the formatting applied.

The rules for entering and formatting text are the same as for creating a new email.

The email can also be forwarded an attachment to a new email.

Forward an email as an attachment

As a result, an email composer form with the attached file (forwarded email) will open. Rules for entering and formatting the text are the same as for creating a new email.
