The .eml format (short for electronic mail, electronic mail or email) is widely used to store and move messages between different email programs such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Mac/Apple Mail, Windows Mail and others. An EML file stores the entire contents of an email, including headers, attachments, hyperlinks, and message text.
To download an email in .eml format, do the following:
1.Select a message. The message will open in the Reading pane.
2.On the toolbar in the Reading pane, click
More.
3.Select Download as eml from the drop-down menu. The email will be uploaded to a folder on the user's device that is set as the default downloads folder.
