Undo and redo

To undo the last action you did with the document's content, use one of the following methods:

–On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click  Undo.

–When working in macOS, run Edit > Undo command from the command menu.

–Press Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace (Windows, Linux), or ⌘Cmd+Z (macOS).

To undo several recent actions, run the undo command several times.

To redo an undone action, use one of the following methods:

–On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click  Redo.

–When working in macOS, run Edit > Redo command from the command menu.

–Press Ctrl+Y, Ctrl+Shift+Z, Shift+Alt+Backspace (Windows, Linux) or ⌘Cmd+Y (macOS).

To redo the last few undone actions, run the redo command several times.
