How can we help you?

To create an array formula, do the following:

1.Select a cell or a range of cells proportional to the array to insert the formula. If you select a range smaller than the array, only the selected cells are filled with values. If you select a range larger than the array, the remaining cells are filled with the #N/A error.

2.Start entering the formula in a cell or on the Formula bar.

3.After entering, while still in edit mode, press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (Windows, Linux) or ⇧Shift+⌘Cmd+⌤Enter (macOS).

If arrays contain data of different types, the #VALUE! error is displayed when invalid operations are performed between them.
