To copy and paste formatting, you can use:

The t_home_copy_formatting Copy formatting button on the Toolbar.

Keyboard shortcuts.

When working in macOS, commands from the main menu.

To copy and paste formatting once using the t_home_copy_formatting Copy formatting button, follow these steps:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting to using one of the methods described in the Copy and paste formatting rules section.

2.On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click t_home_copy_formatting Copy formatting.

3.Select the fragment to paste formatting using one of the methods described in the Copy and paste formatting rules section.

To copy and paste formatting multiple times using the t_home_copy_formatting Copy formatting button, follow these steps:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting to using one of the methods described above.

2.On the Home tab, in the Edit group, double-click t_home_copy_formatting Copy formatting to make it look like t_home_multiple_copy_formatting.

3.Sequentially apply formatting to the desired text fragments using one of the methods described in the Copy and paste formatting rules section.

To quit applying multiple formatting mode, do one of the following:

On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click the t_home_multiple_copy_formatting button to make it look like t_home_copy_formatting.

Press Esc.

To copy and paste formatting using the main menu (when working in macOS) or the keyboard shortcuts, follow these steps:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting to using one of the methods described in the Copy and paste formatting rules section.

2.Run the Copy formatting command in one of the following ways:

When working in macOS, select the Edit > Copy formatting command from the command menu.

Press Ctrl+Shift+C (Windows, Linux) or ⇧Shift+⌘Cmd+C (macOS).

3.If you want to apply formatting to a single fragment, do the following:

Select the fragment to paste formatting using one of the methods described in the Copy and paste formatting rules section.

Press Ctrl+Shift+V (Windows, Linux) or ⇧Shift+⌘Cmd+V (macOS) or select the Edit > Paste formatting command from the command menu.

4.If you want to apply formatting to several fragments, select these fragments in the text one by one and run the Paste formatting command for each of them.
