Unprotect sheet structure

If the spreadsheet structure is protected from editing, the icon appears to the right of the sheet tabs. To remove the protection, you may need to enter a password.

To unprotect the spreadsheet structure, follow these steps:

1.On the Protection tab, click  Unprotect structure. When working in macOS, you can also run the Data > Manage protection > Unprotect structure command from the command menu.

2.In the Manage protection pane, on the Spreadsheet structure tab:

•If the spreadsheet structure is password protected, enter the password and click Unprotect.

•If the spreadsheet structure is not password protected, click Unprotect.

3.To close the Manage protection pane, do one of the following:

•At the top of the pane, click .

•On the Sidebar, click  Manage protection.
