By default, new incoming messages are downloaded when you sign in to your account and periodically at regular intervals when your account is active.

To configure options for downloading new messages, follow these steps:

1.Open the Account Settings window in one of the following ways:

On the Menu Bar, select Tools > Account Settings.

In the folder pane, select an account. On the account page, select Settings > Account Settings.

2.In the Account Settings window, select the Server Settings option and configure the automatic download of the incoming messages.

To download new messages manually, do one of the following:

On the Menu Bar, select File > Get New messages For and specify one of the following options: All Accounts, Current Account, a specific account from the list of available accounts.

On the Toolbar, click the arrow to the right of the get_mail_btn button. In the opened list, select one of the options: Get All New Messages, or select the account for which you want to receive the messages.
