How can we help you?

When working on a document, you can highlight certain text fragments in different colors (marker style) to make them more visible against the background of the rest of the document content.

To highlight the text, follow these steps:

1.Select the required text:

To highlight all the text in a cell in color, select the cell.

To highlight a text fragment located in a cell with a color, enter the cell editing mode and select the fragment.

To highlight a word in color, enter the cell editing mode and place the cursor on the word or select the entire word.

2.To select the last color you used to highlight text earlier, on the Home tab, in the Font group, click t_font_highlight_color Highlight color.

3.To select a different color to highlight text, on the Home tab, in the Font group, click the arrow to the right of the t_font_highlight_color Highlight color button.

4.In the color selection pane that opens, select the desired color from the palette or the Recent colors set. This palette is displayed if at least one color from the palette was previously used to highlight text. The Recent colors section can display a total of one to eight of the most recently used colors.

The selected color will be checked, and the text will be highlighted in this color.

Text highlight color is retained only in files in .ods and .xods formats.

To remove highlighting from a text, do the following:

1.Select the desired text as described above.

2.On the Home tab, in the Font group, click the arrow to the right of the t_font_highlight_color Highlight color button.

3.In the color selection pane that opens, click No color.
