How can we help you?
Application: Text Home Edition

You can change the position of the shape relative to the text. For example, you can place the shape in line with the text, in front of the text or behind it.

To change the position of the shape in the text, do the following:

1.Select the shape. If you want to select a shape that is in Behind text position, hover your mouse over it and click the editor_select_text_behind_icon button that appears.

2.Open the list of possible shape positions in one of the following ways:

If a line is selected, on the Home tab, in the Line group, click the button with the current line position. If any other shape is selected, on the Home tab, in the Shape group, click the button with the current position of the shape.

Open the context menu by right-clicking and select the Wrap text command.

3.Select the desired position of the shape relative to the text:

In line with text: The shape is part of the text as a word or punctuation mark.

Square: The text wraps the rectangular frame in which the shape is placed.

Top and bottom: The text is placed below and above the shape.

In front of text: The shape is placed in front of the text as the top layer.

Behind text: The shape is placed behind the text as the bottom layer.
