To manually create a template-based file in .xott format, use one of the following methods:
–In the file manager, double-click the template with the left mouse button. Some Linux operating systems require a single left-click.
–Open MyOffice Text. Click the
button and run the New from template command from the main menu. When working in macOS, you can also run the File > New from template command from the command menu. In the file manager window that opens, select the template on the basis of which you want to create a file and click Open.
–Open MyOffice Text and drag the template or its shortcut from the operating system file manager window to the open application window.
To manually create a template-based file in .dotx format, use one of the following methods:
–If MyOffice Text is selected as the default application to open .dotx files, double left-click the template in the file manager. Some Linux operating systems require a single left-click.
–In the file manager, right-click the template. When working in Linux, run Open in MyOffice Text / Open with MyOffice Text context menu option. When you work in Windows, run Open with command from the command menu. When working in macOS, run Open with command and select MyOffice Text in the displayed list of applications.
–Open MyOffice Text and, in the File menu, select New from template. In the file manager window that opens, select the template on the basis of which you want to create a file and click Open.
–Open MyOffice Text and drag the template or its shortcut from the operating system file manager window to the open application window.
The document created on the basis of the selected template will open.
