You can delete a link:

Along with the text or object to which the link is attached. To do this, delete the link as text or the corresponding object (for example, a shape).

Without affecting the text or object. To do this, use the tooltip, editing window, or context menu.

To delete a link using a tooltip, follow the steps below:

1.Place the cursor on the link in the text or select the object.

2.In the tooltip, click delete_link Delete link button.

To delete a link using the editing window:

1.To delete a link in the text, place your cursor on it or select part of the link or the entire link. To delete a link from an object, select that object.

2.Open the link editing window in one of the following ways:

On the Insert tab, click t_insert_hyperlink Link.

Right-click to open the context menu and select the Edit link command.

When working in macOS, run the Insert > Link command from the command menu.

Press Ctrl+K (Windows, Linux) or ⌘Cmd+K (macOS).

3.In the Edit link window, click Delete link.

To delete a link using the context menu:

1.To delete a link in the text, place your cursor on it or select part of the link or the entire link. To delete a link from an object, select that object. If the object is in a group, select either the group or the object itself within the group.

2.Right-click to open the context menu and select the Delete link command.

To delete multiple links at once:

1.To delete multiple links in the text, select the fragment containing them. To delete links from multiple objects, select those objects. If the objects are in a group, select that group.

2.Right-click to open the context menu and select the Delete links command.
