You can insert a hyperlink into a document and perform various actions with it.
Insert a link using the command 1.Place the cursor at the insertion location or select the text that is to become the link. 2.Open the Insert link window in one of the following ways: •On the Insert tab, click the Link button. •In the context menu, select Insert link. 3.In the window that opens, enter the link text and URL. 4.Click OK. Insert a link directly 1.Position the cursor at the location to insert. 2.Enter the full URL. 3.Press Space or Enter. Specifics of inserting a hyperlink –To create an active link, specify a protocol (e.g., https://website.ru). –URLs like www.website.ru and user.name@domain.ru are automatically recognized. |
To change the text or address of a link: 1.Open the edit window in one of the following ways: •Move the cursor over the link and in the pop-up window, click •From the context menu, select Edit link. •Position the cursor in the link text and click the Link button on the Insert tab. 2.Make your changes and click OK. |
To copy the link address to the clipboard, use one of the methods: –Hover over the link and in the pop-up window, click Copy link. –From the context menu, select Copy link. |
To follow a link, use one of the following methods: –Hover over the link and in the pop-up window, click the link address. –From the context menu, select Open link. –Click the link while holding down the Ctrl (Cmd) key. |
To delete a link, use one of the following methods: –Delete only the link address, leaving the text: place the cursor over the link and in the pop-up window, click the –Delete the link together with the text: simply delete the text containing the link. |
