You can select individual cells, cell ranges, and entire rows and columns.

Select multiple cells

1.Place the cursor in the first cell of the future range.

2.Press and hold the left mouse button and move the cursor to the last cell in the range.

Select a whole column

1.Move the cursor to the upper border of the table above the desired column to make it look like a down arrow.

2.Click the left mouse button.

Quickly select cells using the Shift key

1.Left-click on the first cell, row, or column in the range.

2.While holding down the Shift key, left-click on the last cell, row, or column in the range.

3.If you want to expand or narrow the range, hold down the Shift key and press the arrow keys.

All cells between the start and end point will be selected.

Select the whole table

1.Move the cursor over the table. A square SelectImage  button will appear in the upper left corner of the table.

2.Click the square SelectImage button.

If the table is located on several pages, this button is displayed in the upper left corner of the table on each page.

To select the entire table using the Shift key:

1.Position the cursor in the first cell of the table.

2.Hold down the Shift key.

3.Click the last cell in the table.

Special cases

One-time selection of columns as well as the entire table using the square SelectImage button is available in any part of the page except the footer.
