You can customize the view of the workspace and formula bar on the View tab. You can also expand and narrow the range field.
You can adjust the scale using the tools in the status bar in the lower-right corner of the application window or on the View tab. Changing the scale does not change the physical size of fonts and document elements. Change the scale manually 1.Click the field with the current zoom value. 2.Enter a new numeric value. 3.Press the Enter key. Select preset zoom and view settings 1.Click on the arrow to the right of the current zoom value. 2.In the menu that opens, select the desired scale percentage or one of the special modes. Use the buttons and ruler to change the zoom scale To change the scale using the buttons or ruler, use one of the following methods: –Press the - Zoom out or + Zoom in button. –Drag the round marker ● on the ruler. –Click anywhere on the ruler. Change the zoom using keyboard shortcuts To quickly control the zoom, use keyboard shortcuts: –Ctrl+0 (Cmd+0) to set the scale to 100%. –Ctrl++ or Ctrl+= (Cmd++ or Cmd+=) — zoom in. –Ctrl+- (Cmd+-) — zoom out. |
The range field is located to the left of the formula bar. You can enter a cell address in it for quick navigation through the table. Expand or narrow the range field 1.Move the mouse cursor over the right border of the field. The cursor will look like a bidirectional arrow 2.Press the left mouse button and drag the field border to the right or left. |
In the formula bar you can view the contents of the selected cell. You can stretch, expand, collapse, and set the formula bar to auto-adjust to the data of the selected cell. Expand or narrow the formula bar 1.Move the cursor to the bottom border of the formula bar. The cursor will look like a bidirectional arrow 2.Hold down the left mouse button and drag the border down or up. Expand or collapse the formula bar To expand or collapse a formula bar, use: –Arrows –The corresponding commands in the Formula bar menu on the View tab.
