To hide rows or columns, select them, then use one of the methods:
–On the Page layout tab, click Hide column or Hide row.
–From the header context menu, select Hide.
Hidden elements are marked with a special shaded marker in the header.
Show rows or columns
To show rows or columns, use one of the methods:
–Move the cursor over the hidden element marker — two < > arrows appear. Click on one of them to show the item.
–Select the rows or columns between which the hidden elements are located, and on the Page layout tab, click the Unhide row/column button or click Unhide in the header context menu.
