Find data in a document

1.Open the Find and replace panel in one of the ways:

Click the Search Find and replace button on the sidebar.

Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F (Cmd+F).

2.In the Find field, type the text you are looking for. The search starts automatically after you enter the first character.

3.If necessary, select the Match whole words only and Match case when searching check boxes.

4.To move through the results:

Press the ChevronUp and ChevronDown keys in the Find and replace panel.

Use the Shift+Enter (Cmd+Return) keys to move to the previous result and Enter to the next result.

Search results

All matches are highlighted in gray.

Active matches are highlighted in yellow.

The total number of matches is displayed below the Find field.

Search features

The length of the searched fragment should not exceed 255 characters.

The current version of the application does not allow searching by the content of shapes.

Find and replace data in a document

1.Open the Find and replace panel (see above).

2.In the Find field, enter the text you are looking for.

3.In the Replace with field, type the new text. Leave the field blank to remove the found snippets.

4.If necessary, select the Match whole words only and Match case when relacing check boxes.

5.Perform the replacement:

Click Replace to replace the data in the currently selected fragment.

Click Replace All to replace text in all found fragments at once.

Replacement features

The replace feature is not available in view-only documents.

The length of the fragment to be replaced must not exceed 255 characters.

You cannot replace part of a value in a cell or a formula calculation.
