Add content to shape

You can add text and hyperlinks to the shape.

Add text to a shape

1.Double-click the left mouse button on the shape outline to enter the editing mode. A cursor will appear inside the shape.

2.Enter text or paste a link.

3.To exit edit mode, left-click anywhere in the document outside the shape.

Adjust the size of the shape to fit the text

1.Select the shape.

2.On the Home tab, in the Shape group, click Resize shape to fit text.

When enabled, the shape size will automatically change when you add or remove text. To return to the original size, click the button again.
