MyOffice applications use the XO (eXtended Office fonts) font family which includes the fonts similar to the most commonly used fonts.
The current font is displayed on the Toolbar and is indicated by a icon in the drop-down list of available fonts. To change the font, follow the steps below: 1.Select the text where you want to change the font. 2.In the command menu, select > > or click the button with the current font name on the Toolbar. If the window size does not allow to display the entire Toolbar, the button will be displayed in a compact form: 3.Select the desired font from the drop-down list. You can select a font type before you start entering text, in this case the text to be entered after the cursor will be displayed in the selected font type. |
The current font size is displayed on the Toolbar and in the drop-down list of available sizes. You can select the font size before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will use the selected font size.
To change the font size, do the following: 1.Select the text for which you want to change the font size, or place the cursor to the place on the slide after which all text will be typed using the new font size. 2.On the Toolbar, click the current font size. Or click > > . If the window size does not allow to display the entire Toolbar, the button will take a compact form . 3.Select the desired font size from the drop-down list. You can increase or decrease the font size by one point using the buttons on the Toolbar and the Command menu items > : • Reduce the font size of the selected text. • Increase the font size of the selected text. If the window size does not allow the entire Toolbar to be displayed, commands will be available by clicking the button on the Toolbar. You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts: ++ ( Cmd+ Shift+,) to decrease the font and Ctrl+Shift+. ( Cmd+ +) to increase the font size. |
In MyOffice Presentation, you can format text fragments on a slide to distinguish them from the rest of the text. You can select several formatting settings for an element (except subscripts and superscripts where one setting invalidates the other in case you want to apply several settings).
You can choose a layout before you start typing: when you select the desired layout, the text that will be typed after the cursor will be displayed in the selected style.
To define the text layout, do the following: 1.Select the desired portion of the text. 2.Set the formatting in one of the following ways: •In the Command menu, select > (some options are in the menu). •Press the buttons on the Toolbar. •Use the keyboard shortcuts given in the table above. Conversion into uppercase letters does not affect the display of numbers, punctuation marks or other characters. Re-selecting the command will return the lower case letters. Letters that were previously entered with the key pressed will not be affected when you change back to lowercase. |
The default color for the font is black. Users can change the color using on the Toolbar or the Command menu > > . In the Toolbar, the color change button displays a color in which the user can quickly color a font without having to select it from the palette: •Red "p_xo_list_bullet" style="">•The last color used: After a color has been used. •User-created "p_xo_text">You can set the color before you start entering text: after selecting the desired color, the text to be entered after the cursor will be displayed in the selected color. To change the color of the text, do the following: 1.Select the desired text. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the button on the Toolbar. Or, in the Command menu, select > > . 3.In the palette that opens, select the desired color.
In the color palette window, the current text color is checked. The upper part of the palette displays the last used colors. At the bottom of the palette window are the custom colors you created earlier. To quickly apply the last used color or default color to the font, do the following: 1.Select the desired text. 2.Click on the Toolbar.
To set your own color, do the following: 1.Click in the lower part of the palette. 2.Adjust the color settings in the window that appears: enter the desired HEX code or select it by yourself: •The color tone can be chosen on the horizontal scale. Left-click the color scale or click the slider on the scale with the left mouse button and move it. •The color shade can be chosen by means of a marker. Left-click the color field or click the left mouse button on the marker and move it. 3.Click to apply the selected color fill. Once the color is created, it will appear in the section. |
When you work on a presentation, you can apply a color to the individual sections of the text to make them more prominent against the rest of the document's content. When you create a file, no highlight color is applied. The user can change the color using the button on the toolbar or the > > command menu. On the toolbar, the color change button displays a color in which the user can quickly colorize the font without selecting it from the palette: •Yellow "p_xo_list_bullet" style="">•The last color used: After a color has been used. You can set the color before you start entering text: after selecting the desired color, the text to be entered after the cursor will be displayed in the selected color. To change the text highlight color, do the following: 1.Select the desired text fragment. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the button on the Toolbar or on the Command menu, select > > . 3.Select the color from the palette.
If the text where the cursor is placed is highlighted in color, the current color of the text selection in the color palette window is checked. The upper part of the palette displays the last used colors. To quickly highlight a piece of text using the last used or default color, do the following: 1.Select the desired text fragment. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the button on the Toolbar. To delete the text highlight, do the following: 1.Select the text for which you want to remove the highlight. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the button on the Toolbar. Or, in the Command menu, select . 3.In the opened palette, select . |
