Adjustable alignments, intervals, and indents are used to organize text according to your preferences. Use these options to organize the text as you like.
By default, some text parameters are preset. To change them while editing the file, select the text you want to change the settings of before you execute the commands.
Line spacing is the vertical space between the lines of a paragraph. You can adjust the spacing for the entire text or for individual paragraphs. You can the line spacing before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will be displayed with the line spacing according to your preferences.
To adjust the line spacing, do the following: 1.Select the text where you want to change the line spacing. 2.On the Toolbar, click the button which displays the current line spacing. Or select Format > Paragraph > Line spacing. 3.In the drop-down list, select the line spacing you want to use. |
When selecting the paragraph settings, you can adjust the left or right indent, the top or bottom indent, and the first line indent. You can the paragraph spacing and indents before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will be displayed with the paragraph spacing and indents according to your preferences.
To quickly increase the left or right indent of a paragraph, use When clicking these buttons, the indent is increased or reduced by 1.25 cm.
