Add guides

By default, there are no guides on the slide.

To quickly add a horizontal or vertical guide, do the following:

1.Hover your mouse cursor over the top or left ruler to make it look like a double-headed arrow.

2.Hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor to the place where the guide should appear.

3.Release the left mouse button to set the position of the guide.

To add a guide with precise indication of the offset from the top or left edge of the slide, do the following:

1.Right-click anywhere in the workspace to open the context menu.

2.Run the Guides > Add guide command.

3.In the Add guide window, specify:

•Guide type: Horizontal or Vertical.

•Edge offset: For horizontal guides, from the top edge of the slide; for vertical guides, from the left edge. You can enter the value manually, change it using the counter, the ↑ and ↓ keyboard keys, or by scrolling the mouse wheel. The value should not exceed the length and height of the slide.

4.Click OK.
