To insert a row or column, follow the steps below:
1.Place the cursor in the cell relative to which new table elements will be added. Rows can be inserted above or below the cell, and columns can be inserted to the left or right of the cell.
2.Insert a row or a column in one of the following ways:
•Use the respective commands to insert rows or columns in the menu.
•Click the buttons on the Toolbar.
•Right-click on the cell and select the insert row or column command in the context menu
•Press Alt+L ( +) to insert the column on the left, + ( +) to insert the column on the right, + ( +) to insert the row above, and + ( +) to insert the row below.
To add more than one row/column at a time, select the cell range with the desired number of rows/columns and perform the insert procedure using one of the methods described above. Rows/columns will be inserted relative to the boundaries of the selected range.
