Accept or reject changes

You can work with changes in mode Markup changes.

You can accept or reject each change only in its entirety. You cannot accept or reject part of a change made by another user.

To accept one change, use one of the following methods:

1.In the Review pane, hover your mouse over the desired change and click  Accept.

2.In the Review pane, select the desired change with a left-click and do one of the following:

•In the Review pane, click  Accept.

•On the Review tab, click  Accept change.

•On the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Accept change button and run the Accept change command.

To accept all changes in one or more paragraphs, select those paragraphs and do one of the following:

–On the Review tab, click  Accept change.

–On the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Accept change button and run the Accept change command.

To accept all changes in the document, on the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Accept changes button and run the Accept all changes command.

To reject one change, use one of the following methods:

1.In the Review pane, hover your mouse over the desired change and click  Reject.

2.In the Review pane, select the desired change with a left-click and do one of the following:

•In the Review pane, click  Reject.

•On the Review tab, click  Reject change.

•On the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Reject change button and run the Reject change command.

To reject all changes in one or more paragraphs, select those paragraphs and do one of the following:

–On the Review tab, click  Reject change.

–On the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Reject change button and run the Reject change command.

To reject all changes in the document, on the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Reject changes button and run the Reject all changes command.
