How can we help you?

Two heading numbering templates are available in MyOffice Text: Arabic numerals with a dot and Arabic numerals without a dot after the number.

The numbering of headings in a document may not be consistent with the templates if:

It is configured in a different editor.

The manually created heading styles are used in the document.

In this case, the Styles pane displays the following message: “The numbering of styles in the document does not match any of the templates”.

Numbering that does not conform to the templates can be quickly changed to template-based numbering.

The numbering is changed in the properties of the style that is used for headings. For example, if a manually created heading style is used in a document, and that style has 1.a numbering format, the numbering format in that style will change to 1 or 1. after you select a template. Other properties of the style will not change.

After applying the template, the numbering in the document will start from 1, even if it started with a different value.

To apply template-based numbering:

1.Open the Styles pane.

2.Select the desired numbering template: Digit with a dot or Digit without a dot.

3.In the Numbered headings dialog box, click Apply.
