You can quickly replace an image inserted into a document with a new one. In this case, the size, proportions, position and comments of the original image are retained for the new image.

Images to replace should meet the requirements of the images to be inserted.

To replace the original image with an image saved on your computer, follow the steps below:

1.Select the original image.

2.Run the Replace command in one of the following ways:

On the Insert tab, click t_insert_image Image and select the Replace command.

Open the context menu by right-clicking and run the Replace image command.

When working in macOS, run the Format > Image > Replace image command from the command menu.

3.In the file manager window, select the image to replace and click Open.

 

To replace the original image with an image from a browser or other editor, follow these steps:

1.Copy the image to replace from the source.

2.Select the original image.

3.Paste the image from the Clipboard history in any convenient way.
