The control can be deleted if it is not prohibited by the settings of a third-party editor.
To delete the text box into which the text frame has been converted, follow the steps described in the Delete shape section.
To delete another control, use in one of the following ways:
–Select the control by holding down the left mouse button. Press Backspace (Windows, Linux) or Delete (Windows, Linux, macOS).
–Place the cursor in before or after the control and select it by pressing Shift+→ or Shift+←. Press Backspace (Windows, Linux) or Delete (Windows, Linux, macOS).
You can also delete a Checkbox, Date picker, or Drop-down list control in the following ways:
–When working in Windows or Linux, place the cursor in front of the control and press Delete twice, or place the cursor after the control and press Backspace twice.
–When working in macOS, place the cursor in front of the control and press Delete twice.
