You can delete a control unless prohibited by its settings.
To delete the text box into which the text frame has been converted, follow the steps described in the Delete a shape section.
To delete another control, use in one of the following ways:
–Select the control by holding down the left mouse button. Press Backspace or Delete.
–Place the cursor in before or after the control and select it by pressing Shift+→ or Shift+←. Press Backspace or Delete.
You can also delete a Checkbox, Date picker, or Drop-down list control in the following ways:
–Place the cursor in front of the control and press Delete twice.
–Place the cursor after the control and press Backspace twice.
