1.Place the cursor in the cell relative to which new table elements will be added. Rows can be inserted above or below the cell, and columns can be inserted to the left or right of the cell.

2.Add a row or column in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Table and select the command to insert a row or a column.

Click one of the buttons buttons_table_add on the Toolbar.

Right-click the cell and select the command to insert a row or a column from the context menu.

Press Alt+L (option Option+L) to insert the column on the left, Alt+R (option Option+R) to insert the column on the right, Alt+A (option Option+A) to insert the row above, and Alt+B (option Option+B) to insert the row below.

To add multiple rows or columns at a time, select a range of cells with the desired number of rows or columns and add the elements using one of the methods described above. Rows or columns will be inserted taking into account the borders of the selected range.
